Meet the Staff at Kinser Family Childcare

Stacy & Tony Kinser

Hello, we are Tony and Stacy Kinser. We were both raised in Oroville, California. We got married in 1997 and started a family the following year. We raised three children of our own and decided that we have a heart for caring for children.

In 2020, we officially became a licensed daycare home and licensed foster care home. Stacy started her career as a young adult doing respite care for disabled children and continued this work for nearly two decades. Stacy then moved on to elderly care as a CNA, where she excelled and was loved by her employers, coworkers, and clients. Tony worked in construction as a young man, and when we started our family, he decided that he wanted to work for himself and started our business, Kinsers Construction Inc., which he has been doing ever since.

We love that our job is to be a positive influence and role model for the children that we care for in our home. We are proud of our our daycare business and the privilege of being foster parents.

Addi

Hi! I’m Addi, and I’m so excited to be starting at the daycare and getting to know your little ones! I’m a very fun, energetic person who truly loves being around kids and helping them learn, grow, and have a great time each day!

I’ve worked with children in many different settings—in classrooms, after-school programs, at church, summer camps, and through lots of babysitting—and every experience has helped me understand how to connect with kids of all ages and personalities. I love the outdoors, animals, backpacking and hiking, music, dancing, Dutch Bros, and most importantly, bringing positive energy, creativity, and patience into everything I do. My goal here is always to make sure each child feels safe, happy, and excited to come in every day.

Kim

Hi everyone, my name is Kim, and I am proud to be part of creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported every day. I can be a little shy at first, but I am warm, caring, and dedicated to building trusting relationships with the children and families I work with.

As a parent to my own son, who is now 18, I bring personal experience, patience, and understanding to supporting children through their growth and development. Outside of work, I love animals and reading, and I am currently teaching myself to crochet. I also train and compete in sheepdog trials, which has taught me patience, consistency, and strong communication skills. I look forward to meeting your child and being part of a team that helps children thrive.

How We Work With Families

Because we are a small, licensed home in Oroville, we prioritize smaller caretaker to children ratios than most daycare centers. We keep parents updated regularly and follow a steady daily schedule so kids know what to expect.
